Business Coalition of a Better Madera

Business Leaders Supporting a Unique Opportunity

Seeing a need to provide balance and reason to the commentary around the proposed North Fork destination resort project, Madera business and community leaders announced the formation of the Business Coalition for Building a Better Madera (“Business Coalition”) on August 15, 2005.

The Business Coalition for Building a Better Madera is a group of independent business and community leaders who envision a vital and economically strong Madera and support development that will help achieve that vision. The Coalition provides an independent voice in support of the economic engine that will drive development in the City and County of Madera – the proposed North Fork destination resort project.

The Coalition is a volunteer, semi-independent, grassroots coalition group made up of supportive community members serving as project ambassadors who can organize support events, serve as spokespeople, and byline articles in support of the proposed North Fork development project.

The informal organization is co-chaired by Rick Farinelli and Herman Perez, former director of the Madera County Workforce Development Office and past mayor and former councilman, City of Madera.

The Business Coalition meets on an ad hoc basis and membership is free. For more information, please contact Rick Faranelli 559-706-5386 or Herman Perez at 559-675-8540.
