Constitution

In 1993, only 10 years after restoration of federal recognition, the first North Fork Tribal Council was convened. Three short years later, in 1996, Tribal citizens adopted the Constitution of the North Fork Rancheria. Today the Tribe is among the largest restored tribes in California with nearly 1,800 tribal citizens as of Fall 2009.

Copies of the Tribal Constitution are available upon request. Please direct inquiries to: Katrina Guitierez, Tribal Secretary, 559-877-2484 or kguitierez@northforkrancheria-nsn.gov
